SHIQING CHEN is a designer and new media artist based in Brooklyn, NY. She is currently part of the exhibition team at the American Museum of Natural History and works with the Office of Paul Sahre.

Her work and research primarily focus on using data as a starting point to explore cross-media storytelling and visual communication through changes over time. Currently, she is focused on the relationship between temporary urban spaces and people within modern environments.

Her works have been featured and selected in CULTUREHUB Re-Fest, CICA Museum, PRINT Magazine, AIAP International Motion Art Awards 9 (Winner), Gymnopedie Brooklyn, Al-Tiba9 and MUBI Notebook.

SHIQING holds a Master's degree from NYU's Tisch Interactive Telecommunications Program and a BFA in Design from the School of Visual Arts, NYC.
